Perfume Lancome Hypnose

Your rate on these perfumes?

The perfumes I’ve listed below are ones I want for christmas, I haven’t yet smelled them. But I’m judging by the bottle. I’m buying them off the internet.

Only if you have smelt the perfume, comment. If not, please don’t bother. Say if it lasts long, or if its too strong ect. and also say if its suitable for a girl teen aged 15. Ta.

Can can – paris hilton
Hypnose – lancome (have smelled)
-princess- Vera wang (have smelled, but is the next one better?)
flower princes – vera wang
Bright crystal – versace
haha, everyone seems to hate paris
are there any perfumes you suggest?
im not sure what kidn of perfume ilike.

where are the oily spots where i should put it?

you’re buying fragrances based off the bottle? that is so weird. that’s kinda like forcing yourself to like whatever scent you’ll get just because the bottle’s pretty. but whatever, your choice.

can can – very generic and boring.
hypnose – very girly
princess – disgusting. i’m not a sweet floral person.
flower princess – a little less obnoxious.
bright crystal – fruity; probably the best of the bunch.

i work fragrances at sephora so i’m constantly sniffing these (minus the paris hilton). i’d say all of them were suitable for a 15-year old.

a general rule of thumb is that the muskier/sweeter/pungently floral a scent is, the longer it’ll last. also, applying it on an oilier surface helps retain the scent a little longer.

edit: when i say oily surfaces, i meant more moisturized areas. a fragrance can evaporate faster on a dry surface rather than a damp one. a lot of people “layer” scents to help them last, too, as in use a shower gel, lotion, then perfume all of the same fragrance.

i can’t think of many recommendations, since i don’t have the same taste.. maybe salvatore ferragamo incanto heaven? i love it.. smells just like apples, almost like apple bubble bath. you should definitely just go to a dept store counter or a sephora and smell all of these in person.. don’t waste your money on a perfume you might not like!
