DIY Pedicures At Home: Help On How to Do It
Scientists have proven that having a pedicure can be really advantageous. Try to soak your feet in a foot bath. Let your feet sit in warm water for around three minutes. You can add things like lavender bath salts or other skin softeners and soothers. This can turn the foot bath into a seriously wonderful experience and help your feet feel really good. Foot soaking crystals are available in any bath and body area of any store today. Sure, a few might cost a little more but pick the ones you like most.
Use a pumice stone to smooth down any rough patches or calluses that might still remain after the foot bath. Don’t try to use callus shavers or tools of that ilk. A plain and good old pumice stone should suffice.
Rinse off your feet after you’ve finished with the pumice stone. When you have rinsed the dust from the pumice stone and your calluses and also any foot soak-ness that remains, apply some moisturizing lotion. There are plenty of moisturizing lotions created specifically for the feet. It is perfectly okay to just rub in the lotion rapidly if you are in a rush, but try not to settle for this. Instead, if you have the time, deeply massage in the lotion. Massaging works to calm not just your feet but the rest of your body as well.
As soon as your feet are clean, clear of calluses and moisturized, it is time to prep them to be gorgeous. This is not an essential step, but knowing that your toes are nice looking can help you feel better about the rest of you, even if you keep your feet closed into shoes most of the day. Try using a cuticle pusher to work on your cuticles (don’t use a cuticle trimmer since they can cause cuts and other issues). Apply a good solid layer of nail strengthening polish. After the first coat has had the time to dry properly, you cna put on whatever colors or designs that you prefer!
Do-it-yourself pedicures can be done somewhat quickly and are usually less expensive than those that you would get professionally. DIY pedicures are great for your whole body health, so get going!
